Favorite/Least Favorite Audios

So for those who listen to'em, what are some of your favorite Who audios?

For favorites, I gotta go with, in no particular order...

-Circular Time. Actually, I'd say this probably is my favorite of all the Big Finish audio releases. "Fall" and "Winter" are quite possibly some of the best Doctor Who stories I've listened to. (A story set entirely DURING a regeneration? Yowza!)
-Loup-Garoux. 5/Turlough vs. Werewolves. Yes, please! :D
-Old Soldiers. A 3rd Doctor era story told entirely by the Brigadier, and my first exposure to the Brig.

Least Favorites...
-Bloodtide. I really like the team of 6/Evelyn, but this story just grated on my nerves. Ugh. If I was to own every Doctor Who story ever made, I would find a way to lose this one.

This is a great topic. Sorry it took me a week to find that it had been started! Here are some of my picks:

FAVES:

Spare Parts: Yes, I know how cliched it is to name that one, but it really is that good.

Holy Terror: I thought this one had a great atmosphere, had some genuinely creepy moments, and still had room for humour.

The Juggernauts: Six and Mel encounter Davros and the Mechanoids. Finally Mel gets to use that computer programming knowledge that the show told us she had in the '80s.

The One Doctor: A brilliant story that everyone (including me) seemed to think was the basis for "The Next Doctor". I liked "The One Doctor" much better. An absolutely outstanding story.

I don't think I can pick too many least faves right now, but I do think that The Rapture (Doctor Who goes to a disco in Ibiza) would be among them.

For the most part I really liked "Bloodtide", but wasn't that the one that had the woman with the incredibly dodgy Romanian accent in the first two episodes? She drove me nuts. I was like "how am I going to make it through this story with that horrible voice in it?" Then she got killed at the top of part three and I was "oh thank god"!

I've only heard a third of BF's output thus far but my current favs are:

Davros - Love Six in this and the banter between him and Davros- helpes explain why Davros recognizes him in revelation- although Davros's ressurrection is poorly explained as usual. Great to have Wendy Padbury and bernard Horsefall in the supporting roles and some nice themes on the corporate world and profit that make it relevent today.

Creatures of beauty- I was fascintated by the structure of this one and the idea that for once the Doctor is in over his head and now it's simply a matter of escaping this planet. Interference and non-interference? Great story

Seasons of Fear- Probably one of the most fun and downright funny stories ever- utilizes Eight's voice over skills well.

Omega - A really great post modern peice on theme parks/relaity vs illusion old enemies, and the view of history vs actual events. Not to mention taking several swipes at thespians. But solid work- best third part reveal-style cliffhanger ever done for BF.

I'd give honorable mentions to
Sympathy for the Devil
Master
Spare Parts (very good but slightly overrated)
Jubilee (the original story Dalek was based on)
The Holy Terror

Non-Favs:
Minuet in Hell- just atrocious- the worst Dr. Who story ever IMHO - so sad The birg and Eight had to be in this one.

The Stones of Venice- Just blah... boring.

Colditz - This one just tries and fails to deliver.

Hi, Ragnarok_whovian! Welcome to the group!

You know, I really want to comment on this thread, but I am ridiculously behind. Things got busy and I have a backlog that starts just after "The Settling." That includes all the Lost Stories, Companion Chronicles, and spin-offs. Eek.

That said, my favorite up to that point remains "The Chimes of Midnight," with "Davros" coming in a close second.

I really have to get back to it!
