BritTrack pre-Con dinner at Haveli's

Postby loomborn » Fri Jun 22, 2012 1:53 am

For the last few years, the BritTrack has hosted a pre-convention meet-and-greet dinner at Haveli's, the local Indian restaurant, on Thursday night. I've never been able to attend, but from what I hear it's a great time and by all accounts the food is excellent! I'm going to try my darndest to make it this year.

In fact, stalwart BritTrack director Caro would very much like to get as many Whovians (and other British media fans) as possible to attend the event in costume! For those who like to costume on Thursday night, this sounds like a blast. I know Amy's planning to attend in her Femme Seven costume this year. What about you guys?

I'm planning to attend; not sure if I'll be in costume or not.

Mmmm... Indian food...

Traditionally I meet up with another group of friends on Thursday night, but if that falls through this would definitely be a possibility!

I've already RVSPed for this on Facebook and I'm super excited - I've never tried Indian food. I may cosplay, but that's still up for debate. :)

With the Indian food, I might be able to get my hubby to come. If I do make it, I'll definitely slip into my Tim Bisley before heading over. :D

I'm reversing it, you're reversing it back again. We're confusing the polarity.

Well, if I find out I don't like Indian food - at least I can say I tried! :)

Amy and I will be trying our best to make it to that one! I know Caro, the head of the BritTrack, would love for people to come to the event in costume, as well!

Amy and I will be trying our best to make it to that one! There's a thread on it a little ways down, it's kind of gotten lost in the D*C threadsplosion. I know Caro, the head of the BritTrack, would love for people to come to their event in costume, as well!

I'm definitely going to be there.
